Chestnut brown haired Fleur with sidepart-mystery solved!

This blog post will be a short one.... but is definitively worth an own posting!

The mystery about the Fleur doll with chestnut brown hair and a sidepart is finally solved!!!

Many collectors, including myself, think/thought, that the beautiful Fleur doll with chestnut brown full long hair was a variant of the In Concert Fleur. However I was educated by the lovely owner of Fleurdolls.com, that she can't be In Concert Fleur because the headmold is wrong. It appears that In Concert Fleur doll was made with the small Ballerina head and with dark brown hair and not chestnut brown hair (also ginger, maybe also blonde although we don't know this for sure). The chestnut brown haired Fleur has the wrong facemold. She has actually the same facemold like Famous Fashion Fleur which is, as we all know, the other Feur doll made with a sidepart. But we haven't seen this doll in a box to proof this theory.... untill now!!!!!

I have finally found one and now we have proof that the chestnut brown haired Sidepart is Famous Fashion!!! WOW!

She was sold in the exact same box as the other Famous Fashion Fleur dolls. See here a full review about Famous Fashion Fleur.

Her hair length could vary as well as the amount of her hair. One of the has very long and full hair (the boxed one) while the other has less hair which is a bit shorter.

My first chestnut brown haired sidepart that I didn't know is Famous Fashion untill now.

To distinguish Famous Fashion from In Concert Fleur, you have to see them side by side. In Concert was made with the smaller Ballerina haeadmold, the vinyl tends to darken. Her lips are small, her eyes are azure blue, her eyebrows tend to pale.

Famous Fashion, also the chestnut brown haired one, has the wider and bigger Aerobic facemold made of vinyl that tends to pale. Her make up is vivid. Her eyes are navy or ultramarine blue, her lips are bigger.

Both Famous Fashion and In Concert were sold with dark brown hair, but their headmolds are different.

In Concert Fleur was made with the Ballerina body, that has bending ellbows and ancles. Famous Fashion has the standart Fleur body with straight arms.
